Album Review

Three CDs individually packaged in jewel cases, housed in a cardboard slipcase. 42 tracks, rounded out by a 12-minute medley. Mr. Bennett (yes, "Mr.", in deference to his nearly unmatched musical legacy/longevity), has performed for eight decades, and indeed performed in front if eleven presidents (and counting, at the time of this writing). A World War 2 veteran (not only in the military band; he was in the Battle of the Bulge!), accomplished painter, winner of 19 Grammys, the oldest artist to appear at #1 on any Billboard chart (Top 100 Albums, 85 years old), charted new albums in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s! His 90th birthday was marked by the lighting of the Empire State Building (you have to rate to get that, or at least have some friends in high places - so to speak). We could go on and on but we think that's enough reasons to buy this box set!
