Album Review

Nicknamed Sleepy because of his tendency to doze due to low blood pressure, Estes was blind in one eye from childhood due to an accident, and completely blind at age 50. He was for a long period thought deceased, only to have been re-discovered in 1962 still playing music in his hometown of Brownsville, Texas. And that's just the first paragraph of the essay in the booklet! Audio Books & Music is a wonderful label that you can count on for quality music and a good amount of background info in the booklet.
